DuraPond® Liners are available in 20' X 250' rolls.
Certified FISH FRIENDLY as passed by the chronic toxicity testing with flathead minnows
according to the EPA/600/4-89/1000.0.
DuraPond® has a unique combination of mechanical toughness,
flexibility, barrier properties and environmental resistance. A low level of
crystallinity ensures excellent resistance to stress cracking even at elevated
temperatures in aggressive chemical environments.
 | DuraPond® Liners do not contain any plasticizers hence they
retain their flexibility over a very long period of time. |
 | DuraPond® Liners have excellent low temperature
performance. They can be unfolded and installed at -30 degrees Celsius and remain
ductile at -50 degrees Celsius. |
 | DuraPond® Liners are very flexible, conform readily to
projections and are extremely resistant to puncture. |
 | Tensile elongation is an important consideration when choosing materials for membranes.
DuraPond® Lines do not have a true neck in
or yield point and will easily stretch and conform, without rupturing. This is
important when there may be uneven settlement as with soft subsoils. |
 | DuraPond® Liners are made from one of the most flexible
polymers available for geomembranes. |
 | DuraPond® seams have excellent cold temperature toughness as
compared to HDPE. |
 | DuraPond® Liners have excellent resistance to tear initiation
and propagation. |
 | DuraPond® Liners are made from the lowest density of any
commonly used geomembrane material. |
 | DuraPond® Liners have less than half the lineal thermal
expansion of HDPE. This means less wrinkles and less problems with alignment of
seams and overlap during installation of hot sunny days. |
 | DuraPond® Liners have excellent resistance to UV degradation
-- up to 20 years. |
 | DuraPond® Liners may be seam welded with hot air wedge
welders over a variable temperature range. |
